FAQ

Questions people ask us

Straight answers on prices, how we work and keeping your data safe.

Something else? Ask us.

How do your fixed prices work?

After a free call and a short discovery, you get a written proposal with the scope, timeline and price. The price does not change unless the scope does, and any change is agreed with you in writing first. Extra work outside a fixed scope is charged at £600 a day.

Do your prices include VAT?

No. All prices on this site exclude VAT, which we add where it applies.

How and when do we pay?

For fixed-price projects under £10,000, we invoice half when you accept the proposal and half on completion. Larger projects are invoiced at agreed milestones. Monthly services are invoiced monthly in advance.

What size of business do you work with?

Mostly UK businesses with roughly 10 to 250 staff: big enough to need their technology done properly, without a large in-house IT team to do it.

Do you replace our IT support provider?

No. We work alongside your existing IT support or internal team. We handle the projects, security and advice, and hand over properly so they can look after things day to day.

Do you work on-site or remotely?

Most of our work is done remotely, which keeps costs down. We come on-site for workshops, training and migration weekends, or whenever being in the room genuinely helps.

How soon can you start?

Usually within a few weeks of agreeing a proposal. If you have an urgent security concern, tell us on the first call and we will do our best to help sooner.

Is our data safe if we start using AI?

We build in your own Microsoft 365 or Azure environment, so your data stays under your control. The enterprise AI services we use do not train their models on your business data. Before switching on tools like Copilot, we check who can see what, so AI cannot surface files people should never have had access to.

What happens when the project finishes?

You get documentation written for people, training for the team who will use it, and full admin access. Everything is built in your environment, so there is no lock-in. If you want ongoing help, our Managed Cloud and Advisory services pick up where the project ends.
